EPPING, NSW, AUSTRALIA, January 15, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. Peter Haertsch has been acknowledged by Stanford Who's Who for his phenomenal body of work in the Healthcare and Educational Industries. As a Plastic Surgeon and Clinical Associate Professor at Sydney University as well as throughout his 41 years of experience, Dr. Haertsch has routinely demonstrated the knowledge and dedication necessary to be among the best.
Associate Professor Peter Haertsch and his staff are fully committed to providing their patients with the highest standard of care in the area of cosmetic surgery. Among the procedures available are plastic surgery for burns, acute hand injuries, reconstructions, therapeutic procedures, gender reassignments and genital surgery.
Dr. Haertsch received his medical training at Sydney University and trained as a General Surgeon at the College of Surgeons of Edinburgh where he attained a Fellowship in 1973. He also earned a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1976. He later traveled to the United States and England where he received training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Haertsch is the Founding Chair of the Sydney Burns Foundation. He is also a member of the NSW Severe Burn Injury Group as well as the John Boswick Burn Care and Wound Healing Group.
When he has time away from his demanding schedule, Dr. Haertsch enjoys photography, welding, apiculture and cattle breeding.
